Paul Rudman 

“Chairman of the Mud”
Executive Race Director & Course Designer 

Paul has rightfully earned the title of “Chairman of the Mud” from his peers in the running community. His ten years of running, organizing, and designing mud runs gives him the knowledge to plan and execute the mud run experience of a lifetime. Paul finished the nine day epic adventure the Eco Challenge, something many attempted and fell short of the finish line. An avid marathon runner and rugby player for over 25 years. Paul has raced in 16 Los Angeles Marathons and will be running in the 2009 NYC Marathon. Additionally Paul has run in 50 & 100 mile trail runs. In 2000 he was the race course designer for Mike Bone at the 1st ever Catalina Adventure Challenge and has designed numerous other race courses. Paul’s mission is to spread awareness about environmental issues at Eco Fun Challenge through a fun and entertaining race and festival. Paul is the proud father of two daughters.

Pete Rasmussen

Pete manages the research, development and execution of the “nuts and bolts” of the Eco Fun Challenge including construction of all of our unique obstacles, trenches, mud pits, shower systems, in addition to our sound and beer garden build outs. He is a second generation master craftsman carpenter. He owns a large cabinet company in California that has built out the cabinetry for many of California’s top movie theater chains. Pete has constructed a number of outside projects including; special event build outs, skateboard half pipes, custom wood structures, and even a lighthouse to name a few.
